To Whom It May Concern:
S.O.S: Update on Ghana Dam Spillage -Flood Disaster.
The Akosombo Dam Authorities said that the water spillage of the Dam will continue until the current rains stop, maybe by the middle of November this year.
This means the flood havoc and devastation to lives and properties will continue.
See the clip below.
Our Radio Station in Northern Ghana continues to be the voice of the Disaster management groups to warn the people to move to higher ground.
S.O.S: The people need immediate help, they need a place to sleep. Tents, sleeping mats, water filters, food, etc, to add to the used clothing we have.
Good Drinking Water:
“clean portable drinking water”, the affected people will be elated to be given a filter to aid at most 200 people get half a gallon of clean water each per day for several days, for drinking.
We need your prayers for the people affected but we also need funds to get some of the needed items such as tents, and mats. Blankets water filters cereals etc.
A Tent:
Which can sleep at least 8 people costs $50, a double blanket costs $12 and a mat costs $30. This means $2000 can provide a sleeping place for 100 people for several days. We plan on helping 1000 people with FOOD: Unperishable food (canned, dry foods) that does not require refrigeration or cooking and can sustain these affected people for some days. Food for infants, dry cereals, canned vegetables, juices, etc. to help them maintain health.
FUNDS:
we will need $10,000 to $20,000. For this emergency, Very urgently. Please whatever the Lord lays on your heart to help will be appreciated Matt 25:37-40
