Dear ones in Christ,
Christmas greetings to all of you in Christ’s wonderful name “.Glory to God in the
highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”Luke 2:14
As we celebrate the incarnation of the God of all creation; this almighty, all-knowing, righteous yet merciful God who loves His creation so much that He sent
His only beloved Son, part of Himself, to save us from eternal death. This
awesome King of Heaven humbled Himself and came as a baby–born in the
most lowly of conditions–without pomp and fanfare, to grow and walk
among us and to ultimately lay down His holy and perfect life to give us the gift of
eternal life and light with Him in His kingdom. He is the Prince of Peace and the
King of all kings and Lord of all lords.
The Year 2024:
This year will go down in history as one of the most humbling, amazing, and
providential of all the years: There was a harsh economic crisis cost of living was
unbearable, spiritual crisis woke Christianity, abortion, etc, lawlessness, evil
seemed to have the upper hand, but then in both the USA and Ghana God was
demonstrating that he is in control. In the USA President-elect Donald John Trump
a former one-term president was running against a sitting vice president during
an economic and spiritual crisis and lawlessness was elected in a landslide on
November 5th, 2024. In Ghana, President John Damani Mahama a former one-term
president was running against a sitting vice-president with the same economic
and spiritual crisis and lawlessness and was also elected in a landslide with an
unbelievable two-thirds majority in the Parliament, on December 7th 2024. The two
men are both called John i.e. God is gracious. This cannot be by chance, it is the
amazing sovereign providence of Our almighty God. Both men love their country
and want to help improve the security and condition of living for their people. To
God alone be the glory; our duty as God commands us is to pray for these leaders
1 Timothy 2:1-2.
Harvesting of Souls:
Every year we conduct a thanksgiving service on the 3rd Sunday in November, this
year after the service a young man who is engaged to one of our young ladies
came to me with some questions about serving the Lord. I found out during our
discussion that he does not know the Lord, so I explained the gospel to him, (1
Cor. 15:1-4 ) and he accepted the Lord as his savior and Lord. The young man;s
name is Paul and the young lady he is engaged to is Bernice, she is the one who
made all the beautiful hand fans that we gave to the ladies this past summer. Paul
want to serve the Lord so be in prayer with him, be praying also for Hannah who
was saved in October after the evil spirit left her.
Annual Feeding of Street Kids and Orphans
This year we had the King of Kings children’s clubbers give a presentation for the
other children, they recited Bible passages and sang to the amazement of all. One of our local pastors preached the message on the purpose of the birth of Christ. We then gave them soft drinks, rice, catfish, chicken, cookies, pens, notebooks, pencils, shapers etc. We had almost 250 children in all. Some of the
appreciation for our ministry to the kids.
Alive FM:
This year the Lord used our community radio Station to keep the peace During
and after the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary election on December 7th, in
Northern Ghana. Keep on praying with us for the Lord to continue to use this
ministry for His glory.
Donations to the Mentally Challenged:
This past Sunday, December 15th our choir went to minister to some patients at a
Mentally Challenged Hospital, after the chorus, they gave them food and clothing.
The situation there is so bad that some choristers are in tears. The patient’s
family members have abandoned them. We are planning to visit them regularly in 2025. Be in prayers with us.
Thanks again to all of you from the bottom of our hearts for your burden, love,
sacrificial support, and encouragement as partners in ministry for our Lord and
Redeemer. We pray that your Christmas and holiday season is joyful, but mostly, may it be peaceful, filled with love and gratitude for every good gift from above.
