The Quarshie’s January- February 2025 Newsletter

Dear Ones in Christ, Greetings in Christ our Lord and Redeemer’s Name. We praise the Lord for ushering us into a New Year. I believe the Lord will give us a good year, on the whole, because God will continue to be our God. The drama of redemption rolls forward. We shouldn’t be under any illusions that things will go our way. “There are many devices in a man’s heart ‘ nevertheless the counsel of the LORD; shall stand” (Proverbs 19:21). Resolutions will unravel. Plans will crater. The unexpected will happen. Unexpected things will still happen around the world, in the lives of those we love, and in our lives too. But God is still God. A good God, a great God, and our God. We closed the year 2024 with a special choral/candlelight service on December 24thon December 31st and a great watch night at Bible Baptist Church

The Month of January was a bit slow due to the wait-and-see attitude of our people about the incoming new Government. I also received news about the homegoing of two 90-year-old and 100 year old Aunties all within two weeks then Cousin at age 91, during the first week of February. The Bible messages theme
for January and February was ”godly exercise” based on 1 Timothy 4:8. God’s children are spending too much time taking care of their physical bodies and not much time for their soul.

Prayer with the President: I was invited to attend a prayer breakfast with the President of Ghana on February 28th. It was a real-time of blessing, I was also encouraged to hear from one of the pastors that the President fasted for seven days on several occasions, seeking the will of the Lord prior to the December 7 2024 election. To God be the glory. Our annual Spurgeon Bible conference and pastoral training is scheduled for April 18- 20, 2025
This will be followed by a visit of four elderly women from the USA for special
training and health screening from May 8- 22, 2025. The goal is to equip young
ladies with skills for life.

Cat Fish Project: The Cat Fish project is going on fine, our only challenge is the cost of the fish meal. We are planting Cassava i.e Manioc in our farm to help with the funding cost.

Summer Visit: Adelaide and I are planning to be in the States from the middle of June to the end of August,

Be in prayers with us: The families of my Aunties and Cousin for funds to bury their loved ones, pray for our coming Bible Conference and pastoral training, for the visit of the four elderly women to train our young ladies, and for our planned trip to the US this summer.
Thank you so much for your faithful and continuous prayers and support, and
your love.
In His Grace for His Glory,
Noah Quarshie & Family.
